Obama to pursue UN sanctions.

Obama is not holding up his end of the deal so why should Iran.
Despite the Iran nuclear power deal Obama is still pursuing UN sanctions. Since Obama didn't stop putting sanctions on Iran then why should I ran trust Obama. As soon as they hold off in making nuclear weapons Obama slides in and puts sanctions. I understand alot of countries have fundemental concerns on what Iran is doing. But going against them and their wishes by starting more sanctions is not the way to go about things. I believe they are going to keep going in a circle playing this game of ring around the rosie untill someone holds their end of the deal or their guard.

WOw!

So on May 6, 2010 I had surgery procedure. They were trying to see what was causing my stomach pains that I constantly had. So they would take a scope with a small camera to look inside my stomach. For some unknown reason I was really excited. I wanted to stay awake the whole time but they said I would gag. Gagging would lead to throwing up then probly me choking on the tube they stuck down my esophagus. But it was really interesting how serious they took it because I didn’t think of it as a big deal; I kind of just blew it off. So I woke up and drove to children’s hospital with my mom. It was Children’s hospital downtown and it was really crowded. In the parking garage we had to park at the very top because of how crowded it was. We walked into the check-in room and there were toddlers, babies, and kids in between ten and seventeen. I asked how old are their patients they told me it can range anywhere up to twenty-one. They also said they get others too but it is very rare considering its “Children’s Hospital” most are children doctors.
I waited for a whole hour until they called my name to go in the back and change and get talked to. I had to change into pants and a gown and socks. I had to take all jewelry off and nail polish. Nail polish was kind of dumb because I didn’t understand why but it was so they could see your nail beads. By them being able to see your nail beads made them sure that you weren’t dyeing or weren’t already dead. Then after I changed the anastigyolgus came to talk to me about what was going to happen. I was being put to sleep so I wouldn’t feel anything I was given the choice between having a mask or IV. I chose the IV the mask makes me not be able to breathe. They had a hard time finding my veins but once they did they stuck the IV in I would say that was the worst.
The IV was bad because he kept moving the needle around in my arm which made it hurt. Then they wheeled me to the surgical room where there were four doctors and two nurses. I was talking to them and they told me to tell them a story I guess they had already put the sleeping medicine into my IV because next thing I knew I woke up in the recovery room. I had air condition air taste in my mouth and felt like a golf ball was stuck in my throat I was hard for me to breathe. I was a little woozy for the next hour. They told me I was out of it because I must have been really hungry because I kept trying to get the nurse to give me pizza. When I got home I slept all day. The preparation was about two hours but the actual procedure was thirty minutes. I feel fine but the real killer was Friday may 7, 2010 which is today. My throat is horse and raspy and hard for me to eat because it hurts but it was an experience I will never forget.

Simunnn !!!!

Simun was a great experience for everyone I think. I believe it helps you be able to be quick enough to think on your feet. Also it makes you aware of some of the crisis. That is really going on but just puts a twist on them. I believe it also helps students get a really good feel on how delegates from countries meet. I really enjoyed my simun experience because of these things it made me want to protect the country I had from any allegations pointed and want to help my allies with their problems.
For Simun I would say that I did okay kind of decent considering the country I was given was really not in any scenario and all they wanted was peace. Or my allies even if they were in it I did what I could to help and support them. I really just gave speeches backing up my allies and asked questions. So I would say I did decent and tried to get myself involved in all the situations or scenario that was happening.
I prepared for simun very well. I researched my country as to what type of government they had. I also looked to see their history with other countries who have been their allies in the past and who they are now. I also made sure that I knew exactly what type of country they were as if like did they honor, were they peace makers, or were they trying to be better than other countries. Where they against any other countries and such.
Next time I think if I had a different country I would go about preparing myself completely different. For the simple fact that I had Canada which is an alliance with the United States so I was not that much involved but they were. So my research also consisted of the United States. I had to know about them to help my neighboring country they were put up against.
I will say the only thing I didn’t like about Simun was that we didn’t get to pick our own countries. Also that it was for two class periods. But overall I liked Simun it was not as bad as it seemed and it wasn’t as hard. I think it just made people nervous because they were being evaluated right on the spot and it was a group inter action thing and most people might have felt ganged up on. But, I think Simun should continue for many years to come it’s a good learning experience for everyone.

invading Pakistan ??

Canada will back up the United States if they decide to go into Pakistan and take away the nuclear weapons.
Canada is normally a peaceful country but, if nuclear weapons might hurt us in the long run. Then we will be forced to protect our own and stand behind our neighboring country. United States wants to go in there to not only protect them but protect other countries. They will be taking risks and so will we by backing them up but it is worth it. We don’t want to let any country get us before we get them. It’s just not like Canada to start war, chaos, or trouble with any other country.
But if it was that serious to go that far then Canada will step up and take charge. The United States really are the problem solver, or savers of a countries trouble or way of doing things. Even, if a country was violent or enemy or trying to do wrong. If we back up the United States and they go in there. It may start a war or cause trouble. We would have no choice but to back them up. Or we could pull out and mind our own business and not get involved at all. But something needs to be done and this will help with peace.
If Canada is forced to do anything it will be on the United States terms and up to them completely on what we do. We will help supply troops if they need. But, the United States should be very careful in going about this considering their past with wars. We defiantly don’t want to start one we don’t want it to seem as if we are trying to start trouble or cause chaos for pakistanians or anyone living in Pakistan.

upcoming star Cindy Lewis !

A girl named Cindy Lewis loved to entermain people, such as as her friends and family. Even strangers should would go up to complete strangers in any store or public place. She would say : "Hi, I'm Cindy Lewis would you like to hear me sing"?One day Cindy who was eight was entered in a talent show. Her mother happpen to see a sign outside of Cindy's school that read:
Can You Sing? Great
Dance ? Awesome
Act? Even better
If so come on down to this year's talent show !
Cindy's mother thought Cind could sing but, she wanted to know who else thought so. Sure thing Cindy's mother took Cindy to an audition to even be in the talent show. She blew all three judges away. Judge #1 thought unbelievable(someone that young van move and sing like that). Judge #2 thought Wow (she belongs behind a mc or a camera).Judge #3 couldn't believe what she was hearing he made a phone call to one of his close agent friends. Who hurried and came on down to the school.
The judges wanted to be sure Cindy was going to be their closing act. After Cindy sung another song the agent was more than proud, and he couldn't even speak.Little Cindy Lewis had the agent speachless,jaw-dropped and everything. She completely blew him away. As Cindy song the last tune to Halo by:beyonce. All the judges, two janitors,Mrs.Lewis, and the agent all gave her an applause. The agent walked right up to her mother and said"I would like to sign your daughter;I want to be her agent"! Cind's mother was lost for words;didn't exactly know how to handle good new,but was thrilled. The agent said "Here is my card; Your daughter has outstanding talent that needs to be rocognized.I would like to make that happen. So please contact me."
The card read-
Mr.O'Donald
Agent for the NEW&OUTSTANDING!
*Amazing talent is where it's at*
phone:414-918-3227 Email:ODonald@yahoo.com
extension:1576
-Please contact with any concerns you may have or questions.
Cindy's mother thought she's only eight and her career was already being handed to her.One of the judges walked up to Mrs.Lewis and said,"This is a wonderful oppertunity, and your daughter deserves to be heard with an amazing voice like that ;especially at her age". Cindy loved the idea it was just her mother who had to take everything into consideration.A week went by and it was the morning of the talent show;Cindy had been practicing everyday since her audition. Her mother got a phone call it was Mr.O'Donald the agent.Mrs.Lewis was surprised to hear from him. With excitement in his voice he said,"Hello,Mrs.Lewis-I was calling to tell you how excited I am to hear Cindy sing tonight and that I'm bringing some bussiness friends along".Mrs.Lewis,"Oh wonderful, and I was thinking about your offer we will take it"! Mr.O'Donald, "oh that's great I'll see you tonight".Mrs.Lewis, okay, bye. Cindy went to the talent show with her mother. All the kids performed(weather they sing, acted, or danced) and then it was Cindy's turn. Soon as she opened her mouth people rose on their feet. Half way into the song began to clap to the beat. All eyes were on Cindy, she blew them away. It was obvious who had won.

BIRTHDAYYYYYY SOON !

So my Birthday is March 1 ! I'm very very excited and can't wait to be 15 ! I'm one of those kids who can't wait to grow up. But, I also want to be under 21 or 21 for a couple of years. Growing up is maturing becoming an intelligent and more mature person who is able to make their own descions. I remember all the way til I was like six I had birthday parties.
Parties at lazer tag, zap zone, chuckey cheese, and even skating. But, when I turned seven I thought I was turning so grown that I didn't want parties anymore. So i started having my own family dinners. Family dinners are nice because without my parents I would not be here and to me that would be horrible. I am very thankful but out of everyday of the year I would have to say that My Birthday is my favorite.
I also just try to change somethin about myself every birthday from hair cut to eye color or something where I look and feel different. It's almost like a Birthday ritual. I know it sounds weird but it is like New Year's for me. I love to change up. To me change is wonderful and exciting. My Birthday is basically a couple days away and I am very excited !
More than likely I will be with both friends and family. With my friends on Friday im going shopping and to the movies. It is going to be just the girls then they sleep over. Then Saturday it is going to be sleep all day then get up and ready for my birthday dinner with friends. After that were going bowling and then a sleepover again afterwards. That Sunday I will more than likely just catch up on my sleep. Then Monday is the day I will be 15 years old ! I can't wait I'M SO EXCITEDDDDD !

The BIG FISH !

The freshmen Spartan cheerleaders from Stevenson in livonia were at Mrs.Peggy's gymnactics for a sleepover. There was all sorts of things going on tumbling, movies, games, and contests. But there was one contest that was everyone's favorite the Sweedish Fish contest. The object was to hold 3 sweedish fish taped to your head and run through an obstacle course. You had to start off outside in the in ground pool, swim with sharks up to the door with out getting bit and grab the key taped to the bottom of the pool.
Once you did that you had to crawl on your hands and knees through the fires in the waiting room. They are scorching hot. Once you reach the front you have to climb through the window onto the trampoline. There you grab the rope to swing across the pit were it use to be foam blocks but now is filled with snakes and starbursts. You have to try and make it to the other side were then you have to find the key to open your task envelope that sealed in a glass box.
You have to change all your clothes into rain boots, a life jacket and yoga pants. Once you use the fishing net to dig through the pile of sweedish fish, and find the key. Then you have to race to the tumble track find your own box open it and the envelope read what it says and either quit or take on the challenge.
So me, Heather Jaynes, Gabby Borg, Courtney Myers, and Emma Parker took on the challenge. Eveyone else sat back and watched in amusement. All five of us started off in the pool when the horn blew we took off. Emma got turned around in the water and couldn't find a straight direction. So once me, Heather,Gabby, and courtney reached the door got our keys and got out of the freezing cold water. We then started on the crawl to the window the fires were so hot it felt like a hot suana. It was so hot Heather passed out in there.
Me,Gabby, and Courtney then got through the window and onto the trampoline. We all raced for the rope and jumped on at once. That caused us all to bump into eachother and me and courtney accidently knocked Gabby off into the snakes and starbursts. Once me and courtney made it across we hurried up and changed and grabbed our nets checking to make sure tose three starbursts were still on our heads we looked at eachother and said:"Good!"
We started to fish for our keys Courtney screamed:" I got mine, I got mine!" She swooped up the fish net and her key went flying into the snake pit. I then thought I better hurry, I continued to look. Courtney was running over trying to scoop her key out the snake pit without falling in or getting bit. I then found my key raced to my box and opened it my task was to do a round off double back handsring step out back walkover full twinsting layout. I thought to myself heck no, I know I can't do this.
But, something gave me and idea I grabbed the bouncing harness up on the wall and put it on. Courtney was right behind trying to open her box she finally end up getting her key. I started off running down the tumble track doing a round off double back handspring step out back walkover ending it with a full twisting layout. Everyone clapped and cheered Coach then said step up and claim your prize. I stepped up and took off the three swedish fish that were still taped on and bowed. Instanty everyone's mouths dropped open. I went to see what everyone was staring at, I looked in the mirror and saw a sweedish fish mark burned into my forehead.

Haiti trafficking !

Child kidnapping is wrong especially to Haitian children already going through a lot.
Baptist missionaries claim to be only trying to help the vulnerable children. They were arrested due to trying to cross into the Dominican Republic with a busload of 33 children. The children were claimed to be orphaned because of the earthquake in Haiti their parents have not been found. Their parents could still be alive, or have a family member who survived. This to me is torture because the children are proubly already really scared. They just went through an earthquake that basically tore apart their whole country.
I believe that people should come in and take the children away but not so soon. At least wait until they know they really are an orphan and have no one left. Some children who go through a tragedy are terrized by it and are unable to speak or react how they use to. Those being taken is even worst because they already don’t really understand what is going on. Overall, the kidnapping in Haiti is worst to me than just a nor mal kidnapping because of all the things going on. It’s unfortunate some people think they are doing what’s best and they are really just hurting other people.

would I rather ?

If someone where to come up to me and ask me would I rather be a Slave in the U.S,Aborigne in Austrailia, Rwandan(Tutsi), or a Zulu from South Africa? My response would be a Aborigne from Austrailia because I will have hope. I know i would be holding on to the day when i can be free and if I dont back talk or get in any trouble i won't be beaten or put some where by myself. If I were to say a slave from the U.S that means i'm being worked like a dog and treated like garbage being judged based on my color or ethnicity. I wouldn't be able to keep taking being worked and pushed around and never knowing when they might just feel like beating me. I'm sure I wouldn't want to be a Zulu from South Africa either.
If I were a Zulu from South Africa I would be held back from all things any human being has the right to do. Such as teach and learn those abilities were given to us for reason by not allowing me to do so or trying to do so and being killed by it or for it. That would make me scared too. But,if I would have said Rwandan Tutsi I would be terrified to live. The thought of never knowing was I going to be hacked in the morning or at night or even if they might just leave me uintill the end. I wouldn''t have much faith in being rescued if I was a Tutsi based on the fact that they barely sent them enough people from the UN to help. Atleast if I was a an Aborigne from Austrailia an abided by the rules I wouldnt have to worry.

Semster Reflection

My absolute favorite thing I learned this year in Mr. Fielder’s class was how to make sense out Of short stories. When I use to read things once I would not understand them especially if the Ending was never told. But I learned you have to read things more than once, margin note any
Ideas, questions, or reasons of why you believe things happened. By margin noting it helped me
Ask questions, so than I could go back read it over and over until I understood it then answer my
Own question. Margin Notes pushed me to ask the question why or how? I also learned how to tell
A well developed story. I realized every story has characters, details, and a beginning and an end.
By imphizing those ideas and putting in my characters reactions and their appearance you can visualize
Or imagine how you can possible feel if you were in those characters shoes. Listening to “Man in the Well”
Gave me ideas on how I can leave my audience guessing making them want to know more.

The weekly articles made me learn you should always know your current events because if you don’t
And you read an article you will get lost and confused. The China article made me truly and honestly sits
Down and think like in ten years could the United States possibly not be viewed as number one we don’t
Even make majority of our own products. Thinking about how lazy the U.S has gotten made me want to
Move out of America before gets into its own depression weather than recession.

The Rwandan Genocide
Debate made me disgusted with our own country and I was the U.S. They basically left them to fend for
They they said it themselves it was dangerous so they didn’t just jump in without a plan.
Our country didn’t jump in to save the lives of so many people. By watching the movie Hotel Rwanda I was
Able to get a better understanding on what actually happen. But, these two things helped us voice Our oppions and play makes believe if we were them what would we do? Q.C.V.I s was also a major part of Reading that I learned it was a must to ask questions make connection or comments understand the Vocabulary and point out interesting facts. Without doing so I might have written a horrible response. I even Wouldn’t understand what it was that I was reading what really was going on or how things were happening.

When I’m in college I will defiantly come back to thank Mr. Fielder for showing me how to find credible sources
Because a lot of sources I thought were always right like Google can be changed. Most sources like the
New York Times and the BBC things that are always updated. I use to use Wikipedia until I realized it is not credible.

This will always help me because when I was researching articles on South Africa and Rwandan genocide I had to read
An article that I knew was the real deal and had the story covered not something that someone said r changed.
Overall, I have learned so much about basically becoming a better writer and researcher with all these things in mind when I write I will always have a lot to say.

Top two favorit things ever !

There are absolutely two things I can’t live without Music and my phone. If you know me than you are proubly laughing, or smiling right now because you know this is a very true statement.
Music is my life, and plan on being part of the music making process. To me I get really jealous when someone can sing. All my life I wanted to be able to sing. If you ask my friends they will tell you I try to sing every day, I don’t even come close. But, I have been told several times that I have a gift for writing beautiful songs that grabs people’s attention and makes them want to hear your story. Maybe that’s what I will do write music for the people who have a wonderful, gifted voice.
My favorite artists currently are Chris Brown, Taylor Swift, and Beyonce. I will listen to anything by those three artists. Whenever I am sad I go in my room lock the door and turn on a song that is saying how I feel. That’s what I like about music there is always a song to describe how you are feeling. Whether it is happy, or sad there is always something to get you out your depression. Music is me and who I am without it I would be lost.
My phone is my Life I’m on it or texting all the time. When I can’t use my phone it’s like taking a baby from its mother. It huts very much, I feel lost without it. My friends mean a lot to me they are up there with my family. Talking to them makes me happy. When I’m on the phone with them we talk about a lot more than you can proubly imagine and some of the dumbest things ever. Like why Kangaroos have a pouch? Still wondering about that. My Best friend Kenzie Shea and I had a three hour conversation on the phone and through texting about this kid named Dominic Routinuo. I’m so happy they invented texting because sometimes get sick of hearing people’s voices on the phone.
Overall, if there was a fire I think you would know what two things I would most defiantly save. I would proudly save my orange cat Tango too just because he is part of the family. He wouldn’t know how to get out either so he would be my number one priority.

Fist off I felt that everyone wanted to blame the United States or United Nations and MRND. But, it wasn’t bad because it made me look at our country like why didn’t we step in and help? But, then I started to feel different towards the end. I also felt like we shouldn’t always have to be the country to bail out another when then in trouble. When I thaught that most of the fingers were being pointed at the United States and MRND (the radio station). It helped me have a better understanding of the situation and what actually happen. In the beginning I understood the first main thing that happened. Like I knew Rwanda was in genocide and it was the Hutu’s against the Tutsi’s and the Tutsi’s were the ones being killed.
But, after everyone started bashing other countries pointing the finger and being pacific of what actually happen I felt more comfortable like I was actually that country.. The thing that country did or didn’t do. Even how it changed or affected the whole situation. I don’t think everyone understood. But if someone who was assigned France was pointing the finger at the United States and trying to blame us. We were simply defending ourselves against everyone blaming us and saying that we thought we were doing what we thought was best. It was kind of annoying that they couldn’t come up with any other reason to blame us.
The only thing they kept saying against us is that we didn’t help. But, we really didn’t have to it been like it had something to really do with us. They didn’t say United States must help Rwanda. It’s not always up to the United States to fix every problem. I really didn’t think that France had to help. But, Uganda definitely should have because they are right their it start problems with them.
I definitely think everyone learned something from the debate. It also helped us be in the position the other countries were to see how hard it is for them to defend their selves and decide how to solve a problem of so many people dying. I believe that we should continue thinking on how to solve world issues by putting ourselves in the country’s position. Everyone made good points and good ideas. People also did some pretty good bashing and blaming other countries to take the attention away from them.

Emerson’s argument in “The American Scholar” about American society still holds true today.
Everything he mentions is perfect metaphors on how society thinks.
When he says “Man is not a farmer, or a professor, or an engineer, but he is all”. You shouldn’t put yourself in just one field, man should be well rounded and be all these jobs.

In 5th grade I met my best friend Matthew Michael Maraldo. Surprisingly tomorrow October 31 is our friendship Anniversary. It was Halloween and we were sitting in Mrs.Kempa’s class listening to her tell us her Halloween stories from her childhood. Matt and I didn’t know each other but every five seconds we would look at each other and just laugh about Mrs.Kempa’s enthusiasm. At the end of the class I was walking down the hall headed for the stairs, so I could go to lunch. Matt was showing Allison Koestering some of his amazing dancing and I completely tripped over him we went tumbling down the stairs. I was so mad; my head had hurt so badly. I thought to myself I wonder is Matt okay. He was sprawled out across Mrs.Kempa, I could help but laugh. It’s not every day you see a fifth grader take out a teacher.
Mrs.Kempa needed ice for her knee, I had a headache and Matt’s arm was sprained. During lunch and recess we sat down by the nicest nurse ever that worked at st.mike’s. She always would call you down and check on you even like a week or two after your injury. She gave me and Matt candy, Matt took a milky way I took a Reese’s. Then the nurse started telling us stories about her childhood during Halloween. Matt is about 5’9 tall, skinny, and energetic as ever. Matt has always been tall even back then in fifth grade he was about five feet that’s tall for a fifth grader. She let me and Matt go back to class. On the way Matt I started talking about our costumes. It was so funny because we were both being fairies. I invited him to go trick-or-treating at Shelby’s with the rest of the gang. He came and we had fun we hung out for awhile. Then, the next day at school we both told Mrs.Kempa our story of Halloween. How we got lost around Shelby’s nice sub division, we ate candy till we puked, and how Matt was walking around with his arm in a sling because of his sprain.
Ever since then Matt and I have been the closest of friend’s. Even today we both go to Stevenson and laugh and hangout. Matt is still dancing today and he’s gotten better. Mrs.Kempa recovered from her knee being hurt. At that’s my best friend.

On Saturday October 10, 2009 I went to a sleep over. My whole cheer team was there it was held at Mrs. Peggy’s gymnastics’ on Levan and Farmington. It started off with fun and games and just a bunch of girls going crazy. We were wild jumping off of beams, diving into foam pits, and playing volleyball on balance beams. We had pizza, chips, and mountain dew exactly what we needed. Courtney Myers and I dug to the bottom of the foam pit at one point; we never realized that it’s not that far down.
When you look around the room you saw some girls playing beam volley ball, Morgan Droste and Heather Jaynes doing back tucks into the pit, and girls running around taking pictures. We played charades which was so funny. I would have to say our coach the most helpful, nicest, sweetest, funniest, and caring person I know put on quit a show. Coach Laura is an awesome coach she wanted to make sure we had lots of fun and tons of laughs.
Around 2:00 in the morning I and Courtney got hungry so we went to get food. I was already snacking on a bag of swedish Fish. Morgan Droste and Maria Riggi happen to be already sitting down at the table eating. I was like Courtney how good would a solid swedish fish be. Normally swedish Fish are squishy I wanted a complete solid swedish Fish. So I put the swedish Fish on a paper towel in the microwave. I set the dial for ten seconds; so I thought. Within two minutes Courtney was yelling your arm is smoking! I start freaking out I open the microwave and nothing but fumes of smoke come spreading out. Courtney is cracking up laughing on the floor. I ran and through it in the garbage. Then Morgan Droste grabs it out the garbage chasing me with it.
Around the table we went through the bathroom over some chairs. I stopped running, I stood there laughing Morgan throws it up in the air and I started walking and it lands on m y forehead. It felt like someone pressed my head against a hot stove. The rest of the night I kept telling everyone I had a headache. Also the left corner of my head was burning but, every time I looked in the mirror there was nothing there. The next morning I woke up my head was hurting even worse than yesterday but, the burning went away.
I got breakfast and sat and talked with Gabby Borg for a little while. Then I packed my stuff to go home. Pick up was at 8:30 and it was 8:00. I wanted to go home and go to sleep. I went to the bathroom to brush my teeth. I looked into the mirror to find no other than a burn of a perfect image of a swedish fish. I showed everyone and people laughed. At school on Monday I got called fish head, and other ridiculous name. On Thursday of that week I opened my locker and someone left me a bag of swedish fish. In class that day someone put swedish fish all around my desk. I will never look at swedish fish the same way and kids don’t play with microwaves it’s not safe.

It effects us all !

Nuclear weapons effect every country in the world. Recentlly the United Nations and President Obama met with the Presidet of Iran on limiting the developement of nuclear power. The United Nations fear is that Iran is not being totally honest about their plants that are starting to create nuclear energy.Every country has the right to create nuclear energy however, there are agreements made with the Uniteed Nations on the amount of nuclear energy a country can produce. The reason the United Nations montors this process is because plants that make to much nuclear energy can create nuclear weapons.Nuclear weapons in the wrong hands can make a huge effect on another country. If any counrty gets mad at another country and they are making nuclear weapons they could be used against that other country. Then war can start. Its good we are watching Iran carefully because if we weren't they could be already planning something against us or another country. We are currently trying to get Iran to tell the truth. They are saying they are just having nuclear energy but our satelites can tell when that energy gets to high. It has reached that point were it is so high we think it's for nuclear weapons. Now why would the energy be that high if its only for nuclear powers. We need to work harder on trying to get them to sign this treaty saying they can only make so much nuclear power. It's not only for us but let's say Israil makes Iran mad and they have these weapons they can be used against them in mass distruction and genocide. To me all nuclear powers being made any where not just Iran should have a limitation and a signed treaty stating what they can and can not do.

Grandma's House !

I am so excited for this weekend. Today, I am going over my lovely grandmother’s house. She is absolutely one of the sweetest, kindest, nicest, and most caring person, I have ever known. She has always been there for me to pick me up, come to my games, and take me on great trips. She is originally from Germany, so we go there every three years to see her parent’s. They are getting very old so we talk to them and try to see them as much as we can. Her father was just recently diagnosed with cancer this year. He also has had surgery where it enables him to talk a lot because of a tumor that was growing in his neck. So now every time he talks he kind of sounds like Darth Vader. He laughs about it, which is good to keep his hopes and spirits up so he doesn’t get depressed.
When I go to my grandmother’s house I usually spend time with my grandparent’s. Then I go outside to hang out with my friends. All the people over there are really nice and much older than me. Derreck is eighteen, Reesie is nineteen, Nene is eighteen, Charvae is fourteen, and everyone else is in that age bract it. But, whenever we all hangout there is nothing but good memories, laughs, and a ton of fun. Sometimes when I don’t go over there it’s kind of sad because I start to miss everyone over there.
Today, more than likely one of us will be babysitting and we will all take the turn of watching the kids. It is really funny to watch the younger kids play because I remember when I was that age. We use to play everything kickball, baseball, catch, soccer, basketball, throw the football around, hop scotch, freeze tag, and the best game of them all was a game we made up called “woopen mama”.
Those were the good ole’ days, now we all just kind of sit around and talk. I look forward to going to my grandma’s house all day or throughout the week. It’s kind of sad when you think about it. Sometimes I will even bring my friends from school there. Most of the time they have a lot of fun with us. Maybe next weekend I will just hang out at home. Maybe stay in my neighborhood and hang with my friends near my house. Go to the movies would be fun considering it's getting cold outside and might be raining all weekend. Overall, I'm going to have a great weekend.

First Day

Use To Be Scared......Now I'm More Confident Then Ever
I woke up to the sound of my alarm going off. My mom yelling "It's
your first day of High School." I responded, "ughhh.....summer's over". Mom said
"That's right time to get focused on school." Great that's the last thing I wanted to
do. Just the thought of work gives me a headache. I had just been school
shopping a week ago but, nothing seemed to have caught my eye for that first
day look. So I settled for my pink and black plad shirt with black leggings.
On my way to school I had butterflies and, motor mouth wasn't
making it any better, she knew how nervous and scared I was. All I could here at
6:55 in the morning was my mom. She was way to excited for me. As I stepped
out the car I looked at the front of Stevenson High School and thought........oh
man, I hope I survive.Considering there is about 2,000 students and I came from
St.Michael's School were there was only 850 this was a whole new enviroment
for me. I already new my whole cheer team and a few other people. A sophmore
approached me and started talking to me. She was giving me all the "Ins" and
"Outs" on Stevenson. My heart stopped racing when I realized I already had
friends.
At lunch all my friends were yelling "Kayla sit with us", "Kayla come
here", "Kayla", "Kayla." That made me more confident then ever. One girl
in my sixth hour, Mr.Sherbbs class asked me my name. I responded "Kayla
and yours?" "Allie, do you know the Koestering twins?" I said " yeah, we went
to sms together they are really nice." Allie said "yeah, I've seen you with them
before and always wanted to say something just was to scared." I responded,
"I know how that feels, but we should all hang out sometime." Mr.Sherbbs
quickly said, "Alright class that's it have a nice day." Thanks God were done.
Just to think at the begining of my day I felt like I was going to have a heart
attack. Now I'm walking out the door with my head held high, more confident
then ever.

High School a whole new world !

I like most of my classes because the teachers here make it fun. But, there is one class that I constantly get homework in and that really stresses me out. There is another class where my teacher is a real character he is so funny and tries his best to entertain us. We never stop laughing and, then it’s hard to get back focused. I don’t like the fact that we start so early I get up at like 5:45 every day and its tiring. But all the extra curriculum activities are very interesting.
Most likely going to Stevenson high school will broaden my horizons. It will also give me so many opportunities, their programs are terrific. It makes everyone feel like they have a place. It does, it opens the opportunity to meet so many more people than just the freshmen class you walked in with, or the school mates you already had, even from just kids you knew in your neighborhood. In my senior year I want to be able to say that there isn’t a single thing at Stevenson High school that I wanted to do, that I didn’t.
So far I’ve come across so many new things such as: The Global Ed. Program, a ton of clubs, gulf is recognized as a sport and these things we didn’t do at my old school. My old school is St.Michael which had about 100 kids in every grade, so around 850 at the school. But, here there is so many more the hall ways are like a circus there is about 2,000 students and 600 a grade. Seriously, wow it’s a big place with different people who you start to build friendships with. That to me is one of the best parts of High School already I have so many new friends and it’s only the second week of school. But, I know for sure they are friendships I will have for long after I leave shs.
